Universal Studios Sentosa

Universal Studios Singapore (USS) is the first attraction you’ll see as soon as you step into this fun land.

The Movie themed attractions are divided into seven zones, namely Hollywood, Madagascar, Far Far Away, The Lost World, Ancient Egypt, Sci-Fi City and New York.

Thankfully, the small park size makes navigation considerably easy.

Singapore Cable Car

Cable Car, by far the most impressive mode of transport , that will take you to this fun island. The Mount Faber cable car line links Mainland Singapore to the buzzing Sentosa Island offering some stunning views of the city from above.

The two lines of the cable car network, Mount Faber and Sentosa, pass through all the striking and iconic sights of Singapore.

We were stunned to see the bird’s eye view of the superlative Singapore infrastructure, the scenic beaches and harbor as well as renowned Singapore attractions and theme parks

Wings of Time

The Wings of time is Singapore’s award-winning night show. Discover a mesmerizing night show by the sea. Wings of time is a show that includes many visual effects from laser projection to water fountains with fire depicting the time travel along with a bird of two teenagers.

Definitely a must do when in Singapore for everyone! There’s no better way to complete a fabulous day at Sentosa than to take in a spectacular night show set outdoors against the backdrop of an open sea.

Tip: Go there at least 15-20 mins early to get a good seat and no need to pay extra for the premium seating.
IFLY
Take an experience of as unique as skydiving indoors. With its state-of-the-art technology, iFly Singapore has made flying more fun and easier than ever! iFly provides an experience of actual skydive without the dangers and cost of doing a tandem jump!
Basically, iFly is a new sport of body flying, in which participants are given the chance to hover and ‘fly’ inside the world’s first themed wind tunnel. You need to be there 45 mins in advance.
Admission Fee: You can do 1 dive for SGD 89 or 2 for 119.
Skyline Luge Ride

Skyline Luge and Skyride is a unique attraction in Sentosa which assures you lot of fun. Skyline Luge is like Go karting except that the vehicle is non-motorized, and you drive using the slope of the road.

There are 4 different trails and you choose to go whichever trail you want. The Skyride back on a chairlift allows you to marvel at the sweeping views of both sides of Sentosa Island.
Instead of buying individual tickets to either, we’d suggest buying combo deals that allow you entry to the Luge and Skyride. This works out cheaper and gives you a chance to explore both at the price of one!
Admission Fee:

Tip: Riders must be a minimum of 6 years old and 110 cm to ride alone. There is also a minimum height of 85cm to be able to ride with an adult.
Sentosa Merlion Tower

No visit to Singapore is complete without watching its guarding protector – The Merlion. you cannot miss visiting the iconic Merlion which is standing tall at the heart of the Sentosa island. This merlion has an observation gallery which offers some stunning views of Singapore skyline.

We recommend buying the ticket to go inside the merlion . As you enter in tower, The Secret Origin of The Merlion is a 15-minute show that explains the myth of Sang Nila Utama and his discovery of Singapore. Then, head up to the Head Viewing Gallery and Mouth Viewing Gallery for clear views of Sentosa island, the city skyline, and the South of Singapore.
Admission Fee: If you’re planning a visit to the Merlion Plaza, do note that while admission is free, access to The Merlion Tower costs SGD $8.
Mega Zip Adventure Park
Get your adrenaline fix at Sentosa by visiting Mega Adventure Park. The park features four different extreme activities that aim to bring an unmatched sense of adventure. This park offers 5 experiences: Zipline, Rope Climbing, Jump, Rock-climbing and Bouncing.

We would suggest trying all if you can as it is very different experience than what you can usually find elsewhere. The zip lining was an awesome experience with views of forest, beach and sea.
Once you get to Sentosa Island you can use the FREE Sentosa tram to get around the island and to the Adventure park. Purchase combo packages online prior to your visit to get good discounts.

Things to do in Sentosa – Free Attractions
Sentosa Nature discovery
This is at the Imbiah lookout area of Sentosa. It is like a short nature trail, where visitors being treated to a range of interesting galleries and interactive exhibitions.

You can find Sentosa Nature Discovery located next to the Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom (see above). One more important thing: Entrance is free for all!
Fort Siloso
Built in late 19th century, Fort Siloso is a beloved historic sight at Sentosa. This fort is at one extreme end of the Sentosa island and is now a military museum open to the public. The best part – No Admission FEE !!

You will experience an immersive experience that illustrates how Singapore faced Japanese invasion in WWII. You get a good view of the island as well as the Singapore mainland from the skywalk that takes you to Siloso fort. The Skywalk is free, an elevator takes you to the skywalk with a couple of glass slabs that allows you to stand and gaze at the ground below.

It takes about an hour here to really experience the view and relax. The timings are 9 am to 7 pm.
Palawan Beach

Finding beach escape during your city vacay can be overwhelming and yes, you can have a wonderful beach time at this Palawan beach at Sentosa. It is one of the three beaches located in the Sentosa Island of Singapore. The fine white sand, the clear blue water and the warm, cosy atmosphere will help you relax and rejuvenate your spirit.

A clean beach with white sands. You can walk to the southernmost tip from here thru a hanging bridge. A good place to spend an evening and yes, it is free 🙂
Just take the Sentosa monorail and alight at the beach station. It is hardly 10 mins walk.
Sentosa Crane Lake Dance
The Crane Dance at Resorts World Sentosa is light-and-water show that takes place along the Waterfront.

The enthralling show features two mechanical cranes choreographed to emotive music and a sea of color on the water. The show promises radical audiovisuals, water effects and LED light and an extra ordinary story line which really impresses the crowds who come to watch – for free – every night.

The Crane Dance takes place every evening. Currently, the show starts at 8 pm. It is best to arrive about 10 minutes earlier to find a seat.
